The SPILL National Platform for emerging UK artists showcases innovative, daring and exciting work created today by names of the future. In November 2010, SPILL announced a national call out for artists who have been sharing their performance work for a maximum of up to three years. From well over 200 applications, 12 have been chosen to showcase their work in the 2011 SPILL National Platform.
The 12 chosen artists are:

Darren White – A Sense of the World
Nic Chalmers – All Erasable
Martin O’Brien – Mucus Factory

jamielewishadley – this rose made of leather
Me and the Machine – When We Meet Again (Introduced as friends)
Jungmin Song – Hamlet: (Tissues)
Jo Bannon – Foley
Shabnam Shabazi – Body House (version 1)
Rachel Mars – Unto Us a Child is Born
They will each be showing once, during 1 of the 4 sessions. The sessions are currently being programmed.
The 2011 selection panel was: Lois Keidan (Director, Live Art Development Agency), Matt Ball (Director, Camden People’s Theatre), Shonagh Manson (Director, Jerwood Foundation), and Mamoru Iriguchi (Artist), Oreet Ashery (Artist), Robert Pacitti (Artist and Director of SPILL).
The SPILL National Platform will be presented at the National Theatre Studio on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 April.
